Gaea- Kritsa Extra Virgin Olive Oil, produced at Kritsa- one of Crete’s oldest olive groves with the help of an ideal micro-climate and the island’s long standing heritage in cultivating olives !
This superb extra virgin olive oil comes totally out of cold pressing from the famous variety of olives known as “Koroneiki” which are crushed within 3 hours of harvesting.
It has a golden – green color, characteristic aroma, magical and balanced taste between bitter and spicy and an aftertaste of amazing duration.
This oil has a very low acidity level between 0,15 and 0,20.
This unique product has won a lot of prizes in G r e e c e and all over the world. It won the first prize of the “Mario Solinas” (www.internationaloliveoil.org) international quality contest of extra virgin olive oil in Madrid in 2008, organized by the International Olive Oil Council.
